Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator
Location: Baghdad, Iraq
Job Overview: We are seeking a proactive and organized Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. This role will be crucial in supporting our HR functions and contributing to the overall success of our university. The ideal candidate will be someone who thrives in a dynamic, startup environment and is passionate about making a difference in the world of education.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with recruitment processes, including job postings, screening of candidates, scheduling interviews, and coordinating hiring efforts.
- Support the onboarding process for new hires and ensure a smooth transition into their roles.
- Maintain employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Provide support for payroll processing, including verification of data and resolving discrepancies.
- Coordinate employee training and development initiatives to enhance skills and foster growth.
- Help manage employee relations and address inquiries or issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Support the planning and execution of special events such as workshops, company-wide meetings, employee recognition events, and other HR projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in human resources or a related administrative role.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and have experience with HRIS systems, with a preference for Oracle.
- Experience working in a startup environment is preferred but not required.
