At Eni, we are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor (Instrumentation) within the Zubair Field Operating Division in Basra, Iraq. You will be supervising a team of technicians carrying out instrumentation maintenance activities according to plan, to ensure maximum equipment availability and precision while following internal maintenance procedures and best-practices, as well as meeting all safety regulations and procedures.

As a member of the Operations Division, Field Operations, Utilities & Water Injection department you will be responsible for:

• Maintenance management
• Planning and scheduling all Public Address-General Alarm (PA-GA) and ICSS internal data transmission network and maintenance activities, to minimize equipment downtime, disruption to production operations and ensure the safe operability of the plant
• Reviewing maintenance specifications based on international standards, best practices, legislative and statutory act of the Republic of Iraq, internal policy and Zubair Field Operating Division regulations
• Analysing approved PA-GA systems and Instrument data transmission Network work requests and defining work to be executed in their respect
• Allocating resources (manpower, materials, tools, contractors, etc.) for work execution
• Checking availability of materials
• Executing the weekly work scheduling and distribution to the concerned units
• Carrying out, independently or with the support of contractors, the checking and elimination of faults in ICSS data transmission networks, public address systems including loudspeakers network, beacons, microphones, structured cabling systems, fibre optics and Data Network equipment such as, but not limited to, fiber-optic cables, fiber-optic patch panels, routers, network switches
• Supervising and coordinating contractor’s activities and providing work feedback analysis in order to improve maintenance plans, efficiency and processes
• Evaluating technical offers for services and materials
• Ensuring that internal and contractor’s equipment tools are adequate, suitable and kept in working order.

• Extensive Oil & Gas Industry experience
• Technical diploma in Electronic/Telecom/Automation branch
• Significant experience in Instrument / Telecom / PA-GA system installation and maintenance
• Advanced knowledge of English language
• Solid knowledge of international standards applied to the oil industry in respect of Telecom Network and PA-GA systems
• Principles, operation and maintenance of data transmission network systems, Public Address – General Alarm (PA-GA) systems, automatic control systems
• Topology of data transmission systems
• Operating characteristics, design features, purpose and operating conditions of data transmission networks and PA-GA systems equipment and its operational procedures
• International Standards and best practices of the use and developments of PA-GA and network data transmission systems.
