Digital Workplace Manager – 12 Months Contract – Iraq

Based on a 28 x 28 Rotation

Essential:- Strong background in Digital Workplace, has at least 5 years experience managing up to 5 people. 5 Years managing budgets of a minimum of 10 Million USD. 10 Years managing IT support, systems, processes, and vendors. Proven experience defining, measuring, and managing OLAs, SLAs, XLAs and other KPIs. Awareness of how to measure and continuously improve Digital Workplace services. Strong working knowledge of IT workplace technologies. Experience with standard IT operations frameworks (e.g., ITIL), and with implementing ITSM platforms and managing ITSM processes (e.g., knowledge, incident, change, service requests and major incident management). Ability to facilitate brainstorming, problem-solving and root-cause analysis discussions to identify and re-mediate the sources of digital friction, problems, and incidents. Natural affinity with technology and be able to explain technical issues to a variety of audiences across all levels. Strong awareness of emerging digital and cyber trends. University degree in the field of Engineering / IT or related discipline or related equivalent experience.

Key to this role is communication and being able to communication to users and IT to the business, this is a Senior Management position

My client has a developing Digital Workplace that introduces frequent change that needs to be managed effectively. The IT&C Digital Workplace is expected to see significant growth and transformation over the next five years and beyond.

The primary responsibility of this position is the end-to-end management of all Digital Workplace staff, services, projects and technology ensuring appropriate levels of service quality to 8,000 plus work force.

This is a senior level leadership role within the ITC department

Digital Workplace Manager Key accountability’s

  • Define and manage workplace operations processes and tools.
  • Managerial responsibilities include hiring, managing, coaching, and developing direct reports.
  • Manage and govern associated vendors and service providers.
  • Function as a subject matter expert on all digital workplace vendor contracts and build awareness of contracted services across IT stakeholders.
  • Identify, monitor, publish and manage goals and measurements to show continuous improvements to workplace operations.
  • Oversee services including but not limited to:
  • Service Desk and Service Request fulfilment
  • ID and Access Management
  • Digital Educational and Coaching Services
  • Managed Print Services
  • IT Service Management
  • IT Asset Management
  • VIP, Desktop, Field, On-site and A/V support
    • Manage ITIL processes (incidents, service requests, changes, problems, etc.) for owned services and ensure processes are in place to escalate unresolved issues to higher-level teams.
    • Partner with digital workplace engineering, IT operations and business stakeholders to use digital experience monitoring (DEM) and digital employee experience (DEX) management tools to continuously improve support efficiency, self-service, and automation.
    • Oversee VIP relationships and ensure the proper support processes are in place to exceed expectations.
    • Own life cycle management (acquire, setup, deploy, repair, collect and retire) of hardware and software used by employees, including computers, peripherals, printers, and VCs.
    • Seek out new technology trends that should be brought into the workplace operations team to improve business processes.
    • Work closely with digital workplace peers to support various ITC initiatives.
    • Actively participate in or lead various digital workplace technology implementation and life cycle projects.
    • Cultivate and maintain strong team-level partnerships with other ITC teams to eliminate silos and optimise ways of working
