30482 – ENGINEERING COORDINATOR

At Eni, we are looking for an Engineering Coordinator within Eni Iraq B.V. in Basra, Iraq. You will be coordinating the ZM DGS Expansion Project execution during engineering phases.

As a member of the Engineering department, you will be responsible for:

• Follow up of contractors engineering for ZM DGS expansion project.
• Ensuring that during detailed design, construction and commissioning / start-up of the project under execution, all engineering aspects are covered and correctly implemented as per Company standards and engineering practices.
• Visiting site and coordinating with EIBV/ZFOD team located in Zubair field for gathering of technical information on all issues related to engineering aspects and coordinating all disciplines.
• Reviewing and supporting approval of site deliverables (procedures, method statements, risk assessments etc.), as-built and final dossiers issued by EPC Contractors, including design changes due to site constraints and construction/commissioning technical queries.
• Contributing to the development of the field development plan.
• Coordination of project engineering team, including process, electrical, instrument, civil, piping/mechanical and technical safety specialists.
• Supporting project execution for site surveys, specialized studies, review of data analysis, incidents reports, witness critical quality inspections & performance tests and project handover certifications.
• Providing support to construction and commissioning to resolve complex technical problems and troubleshooting.
• Ensuring planned engineering progress with respect to engineering deliverables for Tenders (as required) and awarded Projects.
• Coordination of engineering deliverables preparation (Drawings & Documents) such as Process Flow Diagrams, P&I Diagrams, Process Datasheets, Equipment Specifications, Cause & Effect Diagrams, control philosophies, shutdown philosophies, HAZOP Studies & reports, Civil and Piping layouts, operation & maintenance manuals etc. and providing necessary engineering inputs to the field engineering team specialists and other departments.
• Support for preparation & Issue of RFQ’s, evaluation of vendor’s quotations, clarifications and Technical Bid Analysis.
• Review of vendor’s documents, drawings, datasheets, specifications and calculations.

This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements:

• Engineering Degree. Mechanical Engineering / Petrochemical preferred.
• Extensive experience in oil and gas projects, petrochemical and power plants projects.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Ability to guide resources in a challenging environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to clearly explain/describe technical matters.
• Tutoring of local resource may be required.
