Job Description

Wood is currently recruiting for Control of Work Coach (PTW) to strengthen our team in Basra, Iraq 5/2 daily work we are only considering applications from local Iraqi nationals preferably residing in Iraq, Basra

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Coaching & Mentoring of ROO Shift Teams and Contractor Performing Authorities involved in the execution of Control of Work activities at the Cluster Pumping/ Industrial Water and Degassing Stations.
  • Understanding the requirements of the ROO CoW/HSE Procedures and ensure are being applied and followed to safely control work onsite.
  • Provide clarity on Work Planning, Job/Task Descriptions, on required Hazards/Controls, ensure all tasks completed safely and efficiently.
  • Supports the Control of Work Team by conducting HITRA & Permit Audits.
  • Responsible for assisting Site Engineers conduct the mandatory Daily Planning Meetings at assigned Stations.
  • Responsible for interventions should personnel not comply with the CoW Management System requirements.

Qualifications

  • CoW coaching position candidates must have a minimum of 3 years relevant experience with core knowledge of discipline to satisfy entry level requirements.
  • Candidates must be fluent in English and Arabic.
  • Iraqi Nationals with Basra Residency preferred for this roll
  • Level of Experience
  • Level 1: 3-year relevant work experience with a core technical knowledge of discipline
  • Level 2: 5-year relevant work experience with a deep technical knowledge of discipline
  • Level 3: 10-year relevant work experience with a subject matter technical knowledge of discipline
