Job Summary
The Custodial Team Lead will supervise one or more Custodial Teams. The Custodial Team Lead is expected to provide courteous customer service while coordinating maintenance and upkeep of office space, living quarters, common areas, lobbies, AB units, restrooms, corridors, and stairways. The incumbent will ensure compliance to the PWS by following the SOP, current policy letters and directives given by management.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervises one or more custodial teams to ensure compliance to the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
- Be familiar with all current policies that governs custodial duties and responsibilities.
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and as need reports for submittal to Management.
- Conduct or provide oversite for company directed employee training.
- Have a working knowledge of how to operate powered cleaning equipment.
- Order and/or maintain all required materials needed to operate a successful Custodial section.
- Assist or direct employees to assistance in work related, personal or family matter.
- Maintain a clean safe and orderly work environment.
- Maintain an open dialogue with management keeping them informed and reporting potential problems in a timely manner.
- Maintain knowledge of relevant equipment, policies and procedures.
- Responsible for reporting any Life Health Safety (LHS) issues to O&M supervisor.
- Responsible for completeness of SOR’s for janitorial services.
- Other duties as assigned by the management.
Job Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
- Minimum 4-years’ experience in Janitorial/Housekeeping related field.
- Fluent in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English to correctly interpret documents, understand customer requests, etc.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements And Work Conditions
- Living and working conditions at assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable.
- Ability to work long hours, often exposure to weather and possible hazardous conditions.
- Personnel should be aware of the possibility of moving on short notice under adverse conditions.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of issues in a courteous, professional manner.
- A valid HOR driver’s license.
