30488 – ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

At Eni, we are looking for an Electrical Engineer within the Zubair Field Operating Division in Zubair, Iraq. You will be responsible for reviewing and approving contractors’ specification, design and supply of electrical equipment and systems in onshore/offshore production facilities, while ensuring compliance with project objectives, industry standards and best practice for safety, reliability and cost.

As a member of the Facilities Improvement & Construction department you will be responsible for:

• Selecting the best technical/cost-effective solutions and products for power systems
• Ensuring overall design integrity of power systems and compliance with international standards, company guidelines and engineering best practices
• Reviewing and approving electrical design documents
• Providing technical evaluation of power systems
• Power systems execution technical follow-up.

This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements:

• Electrical Engineering degree
• Significant experience in the Oil & Gas industry in onshore facilities
• Relevant experience in electrical engineering
• Intermediate knowledge of English language

Required Knowledge

• Commissioning – Start up (generic)
• Organization processes: internal standard, feed-back development and diffusion, technical audit and design review, work team management methodology, documentation management
• Compliance: local/national and international standard and codes
• Plant design: electrical and instrumentation and telecommunication design
• Construction & installation: plant construction
• Project management: project feasibility.
