Logistician

As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen AND an active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance to be considered.

Join our team as a Logistician responsible for managing inventory processes and logistics services in support of IRM’s operations in Mission Iraq. This role involves overseeing radio inventory, procurement, distribution, and disposal processes, ensuring compliance with Department of State inventory and security requirements. Compensation & Benefits:

  • Estimated Starting Salary Range for Logistician: Pay commensurate with experience.
  • Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided.

Logistician Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage IRM’s radio inventory for Mission Iraq, overseeing logistics processes and services for all IRM sections.
  • Support the total life cycle of Motorola, Codan, and Kenwood radio products and ancillary equipment.
  • Assist other IRM elements in meeting inventory requirements for hardware inventories.
  • Conduct inventory spot checks to ensure compliance with DOS inventory requirements.
  • Travel to off-site locations for inventory, installations, upgrades, and maintenance tasks.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Logistician Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 5 years’ experience or 9 years’ work-related experience in lieu of education.
  • Knowledge of radio, IRM networks, and voice systems inventory processes in Iraq.
  • Familiarity with Department of State inventory and security requirements.
  • Experience with Integrated Logistics Management System (ILMS) application.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Understanding of supply chain strategies and performance measurements.
  • Clearance Level Required: Secret.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
