You will join the Arla Iraq’s Category Development team based out of Baghdad office and will be working together with the commercial team across Iraq where a growth mindset, agility, and being frontline-obsessed are part of the everyday job.

Doing so, you will be responsible for

  • Enabling the brand/category growth via in-market execution of campaigns
  • Acting as a bridge between the sales and category development teams towards alignment on investments by channel and categories ensuring flawless execution
  • Work closely with local sales managers and supervisors on ground to maximize in-store performance in the direct sales channels
  • Provide insights and analytical based recommendations to stakeholders about ongoing performance, trends and market developments within a specific category or across categories, competitor activities, campaigns and activations at both total market and customer level
  • Evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of activities to drive optimization. i.e. promotion effectiveness and other shopper investments (e.g. secondary placements, shelf beautifications, sampling etc.)
  • Develop in-store solution and space / navigations to drive dairy category spend, customer and Arla’s earnings and shopper satisfaction
  • Agency briefing, production, and finally deployment in the markets
  • Owning the Perfect Stores agenda and will be reporting our in-market execution
  • Execution of Chillers/Coolers plan in the market and owning the third party agency management.
  • Ensure the consistent flow of POSM for the categories throughout the year
  • Owning the external promoters briefing and management of the promoter plan

Your profile

  • You have sound expertise in trade marketing operations along with exposure to on round shopper engagement and have been actively engaged in designing and rolling out both traditional as well as digital campaigns.
  • You have an eye for details and enjoy working under pressure and deadlines, multi-task.
  • You identify yourself as a self-starter, team player, passionate and outgoing personality with excellent networking skills.
  • Structured with a proven track record of working effectively with multilevel stakeholders.
  • Actively engaged in designing and rolling out traditional campaigns
  • Bachelors holder in the relevant fields
  • Your presentation skills are good, and you are well-spoken
