The Position
As a Medical Representative, you will maintain a classified list of customers (Physicians, pharmacists, hospitals, centers, etc.) that you will visit in a scheduled manner. In addition, you will promote the products to the targeted group and make sure that the physicians get full knowledge of the product.
Your main accountabilities will be:
- Participate in conferences held locally for the benefit of the product. You will facilitate the order process among pharmacies, warehouses, and distributor
- Report of customer complaints and adverse events according to Novo Nordisk procedure
- Live and apply Novo Nordisk way in daily work
- Promote and sell our obesity products to healthcare professionals, pharmacies, hospitals, and other public institutions.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to reach potential customers and manage existing customer relationships
Qualifications
As a Medical Representative, you need to have excellent communication and negotiation skills. Moreover, you need to have the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Strong team player, innovative and initiative, demonstrate proactive thinking, and effective time management skills.
To be successful in this role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharma is a must
- At least 1 year of experience in pharmaceutical industry as sales representative
- Diabetes experience is preferred
- Registered in the Iraqi Pharmacists Syndicate is a must
- Proficiency in English and Arabic language is a must
- Willing to travel internally and externally
