
Eni
As a member of the Negotiations and Commercial (NECO) department at Eni Iraq you will be responsible for:
- Single point of contact with the JV partners in the organization of the institutional JV meeting and “Request of Decision” approvals.
- Supporting in the presentation of proposed mandates of negotiated agreements for Management approval.
- Ensuring an effective follow up of the crude oil nomination process for the purpose of the timely commercialization of the crude oil entitlements.
- Monitor company’s cost recovery for the submission of quarterly invoices, prepare forecasts and maintain records of actual sales.
- Contributing in the evaluation of business development opportunities, and advise on the proposed commercial terms, in line with the Company’s objectives
- Managing and strengthening the relationship with the JV partners
- Coordinating, as per the governance in force, with the company’s functions and ZFOD in relation to the Requests of Decisions (ROD) to be approved within the JV
Maintaining Records And Prepare Forecast Of Hydrocarbon Sales, E.g.
- Crude oil stock position, monthly volumes availability, cargos lifted
- Over-under lifting projections to maximize production volumes within the year;
- Price calculation/documentation for cargoes’ liftings and checking of invoices
- Claims associated with hydrocarbon liftings (e.g. demurrages, quality etc.)
- Updating of the Petroleum Licences/Contract database, e.g.:
- Internal coordination to ensure completeness and consistency of all exploration, producing and decommissions licences
- Maintaining updated the list of Eni representatives and issue letters to formalize the names to the JV partners
- Supporting and assisting in acquisition and divestiture projects, including:
- Preparation of the data-room and relevant documentation
- Performing contractual analyses and contribute in the economic evaluations
- Participating to meeting within the JV (JVC, JOC, JMC etc.) and with the Iraqi authorities (MoO, BOC, INOC, PCLD, SOMO etc.) as needed.
- Ensure full adherence to the Company’s:
- Health, Safety and Environmental policies, procedures and standards;
- MSG, OPI and other Eni Iraq procedures;
- fully comply with Eni Code of Conduct and Law 231 principles.
This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements:
- Degree in Economics, Business, or similar discipline
- Master’s qualification in relevant discipline desirable
- Commercial and economic analysis/evaluation
- Experience in financial and economic modelling
- Understanding of the oil & gas business from a technical, financial, economic contractual and commercial perspective
- data management and research
- Strong quantitative and technical/computer skills (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
