Lead a local team of technicians and engineers to cover the contractually defined routine maintenance in a power station in Iraq according to international safety standards.
Organization & Creation of preventive and corrective maintenance procedures of the mechanical power station equipment according to legal requirements and contract.
Areas of responsibility:
- Creation and update of Work Plans/Procedures/Instructions according to OEM-Recommendations, FNs, Best Practice, Siemens internal Instructions (e.g PCM, Product Bulletings), Customer Requests
- Organization of FN treatment (e.g. RCA)
- Continuously improve technical knowledge by attending training courses and practical training in the field.
- Utilize plant management system for plant related tasks (e.g. reporting faults, performing work on site, requesting material)
- Ensure own and others’ Health&Safety by strictly complying with plant safety regulations and processes / procedures.
- Interdepartmental assistance according to plant needs.
- Protect the environment by reducing hazardous waste and avoiding
- Responsible for tools and inventory (e.g. calibration, repair, etc.)
- Open and honest behaviour, sharing knowledge and opinion
- Communicates openly and respectfully
- Questions existing practices and speaks up

Essentials:
- Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, minimum 4 years working experience with focus on Mechanical power plant commissioning or Mechanical power/industrial process plant maintenance
- Experience in project management as a project team member (scheduling, resource planning, etc.)
- Experience in management gained in a managerial function
- “Working in a multinational culture team in a project set up environment, collaboration with international team from regional and German HQ
- Several years of working experiences abroad are appreciated”
