We’re looking for a QHSE Officer who will be responsible for leading and implementing Aggreko Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Procedures. To ensure that Aggreko Kurdistan is compliant with company QHSE policy and local HSE legislation and provide Operations Management with a platform to manage QHSE effectively.

What You’ll Do
- Developing and implementing policies and practices to identify/mitigate hazardous conditions within the workplace and external environments.
- Investigating accidents and environmental incidents and liaising with engineers, management, and health and safety regulatory authorities to identify causes of accidents and prevent their recurrence.
- Providing advice and training on safety protocols and conducting audits to ensure compliance with organisation and government standards related to environmental health and safety.
- Maintaining relationships with the community, environmental groups, and other stakeholders impacted by the environmental performance of the organisation.
- Carry out site HSE inspections and ensure that corrective actions are highlighted and managed.
- Provide proactive support and guidance on all HSE related issues within the site.
- Plan and lead bi-weekly HSE review meetings with site personnel.
You’ll Have The Following Skills And Experience
- Experience in QHSE environment preferably in Oil and Gas for minimum 5 years
- Specialized Diploma / Vocational Training
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of stakeholders (internal and external)
- Minimum qualification of a NEBOSH – International General Certificate or other equivalent Internationally accredited HSE course.
- An individual with people management skills, problem-solving and analytical abilities, planning and organizing capabilities, attention to detail, and excellent oral and written communication skills in English
