Job Summary
As the Regional Manager, you will lead the drive for regional success, requiring a strategic thinker with a strong focus on sales, a detail-oriented approach to operations, and strong people management and administration skills.
Your role is critical in aligning sales objectives, operational efficiency, and a motivated workforce.
Responsibilities
Sales Management (60%)
- Develop comprehensive sales strategies aligned with corporate objectives, including market analysis, target identification, and revenue forecasting.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the sales team to exceed targets, providing ongoing training, motivation, and performance feedback.
- Cultivate and maintain key client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction, retention, and identification of upsell opportunities.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market shifts, adapting sales strategies accordingly.
- Work closely with marketing, customer service, and other departments to enhance service offerings and address customer needs.
- Analyze and enhance end-to-end logistics and shipping processes, emphasizing efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.
- Implement and enforce compliance measures, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and mitigating operational risks.
- Proactively identify and address operational challenges, working collaboratively with teams to find innovative solutions.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve operational performance.
Staff Management and Administration (10%)
- Mentor and develop a high-performing team, conducting regular performance reviews and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Oversee administrative functions, including office management, budget adherence, and coordination with headquarters.
Qualifications
- Education Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience Minimum of 8 years in sales leadership within the logistics and shipping industry, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Proficiency in data-driven decision-making and project management.
- A collaborative and inclusive leadership approach, fostering teamwork and innovation.
