In this role you will work with the M&E and implementation team to support CPCD work and project execution. This position requires a candidate with good English and Arabic language skills in addition to 2 – 4 years of experience and knowledge of M&E and research.
- Support the implementation of TPM and research projects (third-party monitoring projects, external evaluations, baseline and endline evaluations/assessments, needs assessments) including the inception phase (methodology design and final report)
- Support in the design of proper and sound M&E methodologies and SOPs per contract and client’s needs
- Support in qualitative and quantitative analysis.
- Oversee and supervise data collection in coordination with M&E field coordinators, M&E managers and data analysts
- Ensure deliverables are submitted per the agreed timeline with the client/partner
- Manage a cooperative and efficient client relationship ensuring regular updates for clients on projects and contracts undertaken
- Work with external consultants who are hired on a project basis to ensure timely and quality deliverables and sound client relationship.
- Support in drafting final reports (research, TPM, final evaluations, M&E reports, needs assessments, baseline and endline reports, other reports based on project needs)
- Support in translation and other similar or related tasks as needed
- Support in data collection activities and data analysis
- Code data collection instruments as needed using KoBo and other data collection software
Skills and Qualifications:
- Have strong M&E skills (preferrable)
- Excellent English language skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Knowledge of Arabic would be an asset
- A relevant university degree (social sciences, M&E, development studies, etc.)
- Demonstrate an understanding of development/ humanitarian sector
- Good skills with Word and Excel
- Good qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
- Have an ability to manage diverse activities and to meet deadlines
- Have particularly good organizational skills, analytical skills, and excellent attention to detail
- Be able to work in a multi-cultural work environment
