Crest Point for Consultancy and Development, established in 2018**,** is an independent international company that aims to bring about data-driven, lasting, and sustainable developments for clients, partners, and communities, thus ensuring a more accountable and evidence-based programming. CPCD is currently operating in four countries in the Middle East: Syria, Turkey, Iraq, and Yemen with plans for expansion (Libya and Lebanon).

In this role you will work with the M&E and implementation team to support CPCD work and project execution. This position requires a candidate with good English and Arabic language skills in addition to 2 – 4 years of experience and knowledge of M&E and research.

  • Support the implementation of TPM and research projects (third-party monitoring projects, external evaluations, baseline and endline evaluations/assessments, needs assessments) including the inception phase (methodology design and final report)
  • Support in the design of proper and sound M&E methodologies and SOPs per contract and client’s needs
  • Support in qualitative and quantitative analysis.
  • Oversee and supervise data collection in coordination with M&E field coordinators, M&E managers and data analysts
  • Ensure deliverables are submitted per the agreed timeline with the client/partner
  • Manage a cooperative and efficient client relationship ensuring regular updates for clients on projects and contracts undertaken
  • Work with external consultants who are hired on a project basis to ensure timely and quality deliverables and sound client relationship.
  • Support in drafting final reports (research, TPM, final evaluations, M&E reports, needs assessments, baseline and endline reports, other reports based on project needs)
  • Support in translation and other similar or related tasks as needed
  • Support in data collection activities and data analysis
  • Code data collection instruments as needed using KoBo and other data collection software

Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Have strong M&E skills (preferrable)
  2. Excellent English language skills
  3. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  4. Knowledge of Arabic would be an asset
  5. A relevant university degree (social sciences, M&E, development studies, etc.)
  6. Demonstrate an understanding of development/ humanitarian sector
  7. Good skills with Word and Excel
  8. Good qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
  9. Have an ability to manage diverse activities and to meet deadlines
  10. Have particularly good organizational skills, analytical skills, and excellent attention to detail
  11. Be able to work in a multi-cultural work environment
