Description
Public Aid Organization –PAO; is a non-governmental, independent, non-profit and public utility organization. It works according to its humanitarian values in order to improve and settle the principles of human rights, establishing a developed civil society. This will be done by carrying out the developing and permanent programs and projects as it is guided by the United Nations’ declaration concerning the third millennium. PAO established in 1992 well rooted and present with offices in all Iraq.
PAO is Looking for Local FocalPoint –Salahdin Office/Tooz
Responsibilities:
1- Facilitate the exchange of information between his or her organization and the partner
2- Facilitation of communication between his/her organization and the donor/partner
3- Facilitation of information distribution inside his or her organization and with partners
4- Aid in data collection and identification of vulnerable beneficiaries, trainers, and local CSOs.
5- Contributing to the execution of activities and trainings.
6- Support the mapping of the community and conflict assessment efforts.
7- Facilitating meeting between his or her organization with donor or partner
8- Facilitate icebreakers, energizing activities, and scheduled trainings.
9- Take the lead in announcing activities and public events.
10- Develop a weekly schedule with the team.
11- Effectively participate in internal coordination meetings.
12- Provide suggestions and feedback to his or her NGO and partner/donor.
13- Provide logistical support to beneficiaries, trainers, and personnel as required.
14- Document the activity with photographs and notes.
15- Deliver reports with recommendations at the conclusion of each activity.
Duty station
The position will be based in Sala Al Din /Tooz.

Qualifications
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
-University degree in social sciences, or equivalent combination of relevant training and practical experience;
– Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in social projects and livelihood sectors.
– Must be flexible with initiative and a team work spirit.
– Must have experience working in fast pace and dynamic environment.
-Communication skills with Authorities and Community Leaders.
Language:
Excellent command of English and Arabic are required;
Any other language is an asset.
