This Opportunity

LBS i s seeking a full-time time Arrival Departure Air Handlers Control Group ( ADACG) Supervisor in Iraq in support of LOGCAP V. Join our team and grow with us as we provide best in-class services that help clients solve their most complex challenges.

Your Impact

This position is tasked with performing management functions including coordinating, directing, controlling, and scheduling cargo services to assure timely and efficient air terminal operations. Cargo service duties will include accepting, storing, palletizing, transporting, and documenting all applicable cargo. This position will report to the airfield manager. The duties and responsibilities listed below are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all-inclusive. 

  • Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring that safety is the highest priority in the workplace. 
  • Inspect and validate incoming/outgoing shipments for accuracy, cleanliness, and damage. Control acceptance/issue of classified, sensitive, and controlled items.   
  • Load and unload cargo, and baggage moved on military and commercial contracted aircraft using all-terrain forklifts, K-loaders, and commercial loading equipment. 
  • Experience in palletizing cargo on single, multiple/married 463L pallets using side/top nets, straps, chain/devices to ensure proper restraint and balance requirements are applied. Compute and mark Center Weigh Balance (CWB). 
  • Prepare transportation movement documents and related forms for the type of shipments and modes of travel for ULN and Opportune movements.  
  • In check cargo using the Global Air Transportation Execution System (GATES) to prepare movement manifest or related correspondence. 
  • Inspect and validate incoming/outgoing shipments for accuracy, cleanliness, and damage. Control acceptance/issue of classified, sensitive, and controlled items.   
  • Prepare, complete, and maintain air movement records, documents, and reports. 
  • Conduct monthly Safety/Quality/COR audits and ensure compliance. Perform inspection and program evaluation of areas and operations to identify mishap potential 
  • Ensure all cargo processing and load planning functions are accomplished in accordance with AF 24-604, DTR 4500-9 PART 2 & 3 and other applicable regulations. 
  • Ensure all Ammunition/HAZMAT cargo is safe for travel and Shipper’s Declaration of Dangerous Goods (SDDG) and labels are in place.  
  • Perform Joint Inspection of cargo to ensure all documentation is complete and that cargo is ready for movement. 
  • Train employees on operating GATES and monitor missions in GDSS systems. 
  • Experience with obtaining certification letters from the Air Transportation Test Loading Agency (ATTLA). 
  • Performs all other duties prescribed by corporate management.

  • Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license from their home country with validity for 12 months from on-site employment date.
  • Must maintain a valid passport from their home country with validity for 12 months from on-site employment date
  • Must satisfy and maintain CENTCOM MOD-16 medical requirements to include COVID-9 vaccinations
  • Must be able to gain and maintain authorized entry onto US military installations.
