This Opportunity

  • There are two positions open for this job, one will be located in Al Asad AB and one will be located in Erbil AB ****

LBS is seeking a full-time Site Manager in Iraq, supporting the LOGCAP V contract. This position is tasked with performing management functions including the oversight and direction of power generation, fuel services and airfield services at Erbil Air Base or Al Asad Air Base. This position will report to the Iraq Task Order Manager. Join our team and grow with us as we provide best in-class services that help clients solve their most complex challenges.

Your Impact

  • Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring that safety is the highest priority in the workplace.
  • Comply with all Environmental Health & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements and goals. Provide information and materials to these divisions as necessary to ensure adequate and legal documentation.
  • Manages personnel and the performance of multiple functional areas (power generation, airfield services and fuel services) at either Erbil Air Base or Al Asad Air Base
  • Provides expert direction and guidance to subordinates, develops schedules, formulates work plans, manages and controls project funds and resources, and serves as point of contact with the prime contractor representative;
  • Manages a diverse staff of U.S. nationals, skilled and unskilled other country and local nationals. Maintains good order and morale among their staff members and their team in accordance with the guidance and direction imparted by the LOGCAP V, local base requirements, and in accordance with LB Services Human Resource Policies and Procedures. Ensures that all employees adhere to and comply with the US Military general orders;
  • Ensures that all corporate and all LOGCAP V policies and procedures are followed. Ensures that annual and other periodic performance reviews and carried out and properly documented.
  • Oversight of the management controls to assure all on-site staff are carryout their duties with the highest degree of quality, accountability, and integrity and within the code of conduct required by LB Services, and the U.S. military.
  • Assist the Task Order Manager in executing the prime contractor and military representatives camp safety programs and evacuation procedures in case of hostile fire or other emergencies.
  • Abide by and adhere to all requirements in General Order #1 in conformity with US military standards and practices;
  • Willingness to work shifts and extended hours in support of 24/7 operations;
  • Performs other duties as required

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

  • Must have computer skills and be able to operate a variety of computer programs.
  • Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license from their home country with validity for 12 months from on-site employment date
  • Must maintain a valid passport from their home country with validity for 12 months from on-site employment date
  • Must satisfy and maintain CENTCOM MOD-16 medical requirements to include COVID-9 vaccinations
  • Must be able to gain and maintain authorized entry onto US military installations.

Additional Required Qualifications

  • Minimum Acceptable Experience Level: fifteen (15) years’ experience in power generation, airfield services, fuel services industry or related fields, including serving in a leadership role as either supervisor or manager for a minimum of ten (10) years.
  • Ability to lift 70 lbs.
  • Ability to work effectively with a multinational workforce.
  • Experience in project development and implementation management, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, developing and implementing staffing and equipment plans, and reporting;
  • Knowledge in contract management including production of Scopes of Work, Budgets, Schedules, contract development, bidding-award, contract administration, and close outs; Knowledge of US military operations and contracting support in a contingency environment is desired;
  • Sound civilian/military management background displaying ability to staff, organize, lead and manage a diverse work force larger than 100 people;
