Job Overview

Heavy Eqp – Pavement / Spall Repair Sr Technician perform spall repair and other pavement repairs.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Saw-cutting concrete, jack hammer operations, hand tools
• Usage of sealants, bag-concrete mixtures and applications
• Employee must be able to assume standby responsibilities as assigned, up to and including nightshift or shift changes
• Employee must be able to work in an environmentally extreme outdoor condition
• Employee must be able to solely manage lifting and walking 20 feet with 50 pounds (25 kg)
• Employees will be required to maintain and operate Sealant Machines, Crack Chasing Machines, Concrete milling machines and paint striping Equipment.
• Employee must possess a little knowledge of preparation of, delivery of, and placement of concrete via truck deliveries
• Responsible for other duties assigned by management.
• Pavement/Spall Repair Sr. Technicians perform spall repair on the airfield and other pavement repairs where needed on Balad AB
• Provide professional mentorship to the LN Spall Repair Technicians

Qualifications And Certifications

• Possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum four (4) years of experience in repairing spalls/airfield spalls.
• Employee is required to possess a Driver’s License from HOR.

Skills, Abilities And Years Of Experience

• Vocational/Specialized Training
• Good people skills
• Proficiency in time management.
• Experience in working within and or around military environment.
• Spall Repair Team members: must have previously held a flight line badge at a military installation.
