Main purpose of the job:

الغرض الرئيسي من الوظيفة:

Supporting the Watsan Supervisor in the implementation, monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting of Water Hygiene Sanitation activities and infrastructure in the project according to MSF protocols, standards, and procedures in order to improve health and living conditions of the target population

دعم مشرف المياه والصرف الصحي في تنفيذ ومراقبة وصيانة ومعالجة المشاكل المتعلقة بأنشطة المياه والصرف الصحي والبنية التحتية في المشروع وفقًا لبروتوكولات منظمة أطباء بلا حدود ومواقفها وإجراءاتها من أجل تحسين الظروف الصحية والمعيشية للسكان المستهدفين

Accountabilities:

 

• Carrying out tasks directly related to the Watsan activities such as construction and maintenance of infrastructures in the project according to MSF protocols and standards concerning the operation of water supply, waste management and excreta disposal, hygiene, and infection control.
• Ensuring the cleaning and maintenance of the Watsan structures and when applicable, of the medical facilities.
• Identifying, recruiting, training, and supervising daily labourers or hygiene agents for Watsan activities
• Informing the Watsan Supervisor of any difficulties, anomalies and problems that may affect the normal functioning of activities and tasks in his/her area of responsibility.
• Assisting the Watsan Supervisor in Watsan data collection and reporting, as well as maintaining updated files and records of assigned project activities
• Being responsible for equipment, tools, and consumables, verifying that they are safely used and maintained. Reporting to the supervisor any need of renewal and the weekly/monthly consumption
• تنفيذ المهام المتعلقة مباشرة بأنشطة الواتسان مثل إنشاء وصيانة البنى التحتية في المشروع وفقًا لبروتوكولات ومعايير منظمة أطباء بلا حدود المتعلقة بتشغيل إمدادات المياه، وإدارة النفايات والتخلص من الفضلات، والنظافة ومكافحة العدوى.
• ضمان تنظيف وصيانة هياكل الواتسان ، وعند الاقتضاء ، للمرافق الطبية ؛
• تحديد وتوظيف وتدريب والإشراف على عاملي الأجور اليومية أو عاملي النظافة لأنشطة الواتسان
• إبلاغ مشرف الواتسان بأي صعوبات أو شذوذ أو مشاكل قد تؤثر على الأداء الطبيعي للأنشطة والمهام في مجال مسؤوليته / مسؤوليتها.
• مساعدة مشرف الواتسان في جمع بيانات الواتسان وإعداد التقارير، بالإضافة إلى الاحتفاظ بالملفات والسجلات المحدثة لأنشطة المشروع المعينة
• أن تكون مسؤولاً عن المعدات والأدوات والمواد الاستهلاكية، والتحقق من استخدامها وصيانتها بأمان. إعادة توجيه للمشرف أي حاجة للتجديد والاستهلاك الأسبوعي / الشهري

MSF CH /Context Specific Accountabilities

 

• Carrying out STU monitoring and maintenance in the project according to MSF protocols and standards concerning the operation of waste chambers, waste management and excreta disposal, hygiene, and infection control.
• Ensuring the cleaning and maintenance of the STU.
• Gap filling watsan supervisor, support in training and supervising daily labourer’s or hygiene agents for Watsan activities
• إجراء مراقبة وصيانة STU في المشروع وفقًا لبروتوكولات منظمة أطباء بلا حدود ومعاييرها المتعلقة بتشغيل غرف النفايات وإدارة النفايات والتخلص منها والنظافة ومكافحة العدوى.
• ضمان تنظيف وصيانة STU
• ملء فجوة مشرف الواتسان، الدعم في التدريب والإشراف على عمال الأجور اليومية أو عمال النظافة لأنشطة الوتسان

Requirements  

Education: التعليم	–          Essential Technical diploma or certification or proven background -شهادة فني او خلفية مثبتة, يفضل تخصص بالماء والصحيات –          Desirable specialization in water and sanitation -مرغوب فيه التخصص في مجال المياه والصرف الصحي
Experience: الخبرة	–          Previous experience in technical works –       خبرة سابقة في العمل الفني –          Essential 1 year of technical experience (plumbing, sanitation) -خبرة فنية أساسية لمدة عام واحد (سباكة ، صرف صحي) –          Desirable previous work experience with MSF or other NGOs -خبرة عمل سابقة مرغوبة مع منظمة أطباء بلا حدود أو منظمات غير حكومية أخرى
Knowledge: المعرفة	–          Basic mathematics and basic computer skills –  الرياضيات الأساسية ومهارات الكمبيوتر الأساسية
Languages: اللغات	Desirable English and Arabic is essential مرغوب فيه الإنجليزية والعربية أمر ضروري
