Description


Details duties and responsibilities:
ï‚· Develop and oversee processes of recruitment of new staff, including
orientation to the organization’s principles and values.
ï‚· Prepare contracts for all staff and maintain all documentation related to the
staff up-to-date at all the time.
ï‚· Keep quality records of contracts, hires, promotions, attendance, timesheet,
leave, grievances, performance reviews, and terminations.
ï‚· Assist the Director with the personnel plan for the organization and the
projects.
ï‚· Support the Director in preparing staff job descriptions and updating them.
ï‚· Work closely with the Director and recruitment teams in shortlisting of the
potential candidates and preparing interview questions and participate in the
interview process, when necessary.
ï‚· Ensure reference checks are carried out before offering job.
ï‚· Work with the Director and Board of Director and other senior staff to develop
and update the organization personnel policies and procedures including
review of salary and benefits policies.
ï‚· Ensure adequate systems for performance management are put in place and
administered as part of the organizational development, including providing
advice to directors, supervisors and monitoring staff.
ï‚· Assists in organizational training and development efforts for the staff.
ï‚· Support directors, supervisors and staff in conflict management and the
resolution of employee relations issues.
ï‚· Respond to staff inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and terms of
employment.

ï‚· In consultation with the administrator develop and implement safety and risk
management policies.
ï‚· In consultation with the administrator, design and deliver staff celebrations,
social gatherings and recognitions.
ï‚· Prepare Payroll and other adjustment to the payroll and share with the Finance
team.
ï‚· Performs other related duties as required and assigned by the Director.


Qualifications


Qualifications:
ï‚· Minimum university degree, particularly graduate degree in Social Sciences,
administration and management, or related fields.
ï‚· Three years of professional experience in human resources and organizational
development work, particularly with NGOs or UN agencies.
ï‚· Knowledge of labor laws of federal and Kurdistan regional governments.
ï‚· Fluency in written and spoken Kurdish, Arabic and English languages.
ï‚· Experience in developing and implementing complaints and feedback systems.
ï‚· Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in a changing
environment.
ï‚· Ability to work effectively with various personalities and cultures.
ï‚· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
ï‚· Computer and internet literacy (Word, Excel, Email, Google Calendar, Skype,
etc.).
