Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).

What You Will Learn And Contribute To

The 4G/5G Network Performance Optimization expert will be required lead over NPO topics and work independently to perform network optimization activities and be primary interface between Nokia and Customer Engineering Team.

As part of our team, you will:

• Good understanding and experience of Nokia system 2G,3G,4G&5G with recent experience in working on 4G networks & 5G.
• Be involved in consultancy tasks and will make decisions related to parameter changes, features activation and best practices in Network Optimization.
• As a key member of the team, you will help the customer also with the features activation plan, KPI monitoring, report generation and evaluation of the proposed changes.
• You will be involved in different discussions with the client and will be consider as one more of the team conformed by Nokia and customer Engineers
• Troubleshoot and improve KPIs on Radio Optimization of SRAN, 5G/LTE networks, experienced in both pre-launch & post launch optimization.
• Radio propagation planning, optimization of coverage footprint and service.
• Ability to lead complex network performance troubleshooting activities covering end-to-end perspective, assuring that all required teams (Company and/or Customer) are engaged and taking over responsibility and following up to assure problem is resolved by the responsible party.
• Responsible for all and any 4G/5G counter / KPIs commitment related discussion (formulas, aggregation, threshold) for periodic or ad-hoc updates / changes (for both OSS and drive tests domains)
• Understanding customer’s network performance and supporting optimization activities to tune the RF network for better performance / quality and capacity utilization.
• Prioritizing RF optimization activities to address most critical ones based on customer, end user and Nokia business impact.
• KPI monitoring at project level and highlighting degradation in network performance.
• Analyzing the KPI / counters and performance statistics to identify issues, solve complex problems post vendor swap or new site integration.
• Studying and proposing pro-active measures to prevent performance degradations and customer complaints.
• Hands on knowledge of detailed parameter audit on Nokia system.
• Covering tasks such as performance audits, quality and capacity optimization, parameter planning, network feature testing and introduction in the network, network statistics analysis, troubleshooting and performance capacity management.
• Expertise in traffic & load balancing on multiple layer network in LTE / 5G throughput improvement.
• Analyzing the drive test results.
• Detailed acceptance report preparation for Site & cluster acceptance.

Your Skills And Experience

• Expertise on Nokia tools like BTS Manager, WebeM , MUSA, RADAR is a plus.
• At least 5-10 years of experience optimization , 2G,3G,4G & 5G.
