Position Summary

MAG is seeking ISR TacOps/B300 pilots who meet our high standards of aviator skills, safety, professionalism, and customer focus

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to :

Perform duties as the Site TacOps/King Air B300 pilot.

  • Provide the deployed team with subject matter expertise in civilian and military airspace within the team’s area of responsibility.
  • Interact with the J2, ISR manager, and Customer Mission specialist ensuring correct airspace is loaded on company provided devices.
  • Coordinate with Host nation ATC and Tactical control for airspace that is dual controlled when discrepancies arise.
  • Reference AOR specific SPINS, ACO file, local SOP and host nation AIP to ensure airspace compliance.
  • Brief aircrews at Safety meetings of changes to operational airspace.
  • Post airspace changes to the reading file that impacts the sites operational area.
  • Query aircrews from time to time in relation to changes that TAC Control advises.
  • Responsible for updating base software and terrain data per established guidelines and regulations.
  • Stay current with international events which may impact operational security or airspace.
  • Assists the FOM to maintain information books and packets within mission folders with respect to airspace and tactical/operational considerations.
  • Trains prospective TacOps/B300 pilots to perform the duties listed above.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

Required Skills: (skills a candidate MUST have to be considered for a position)

  • Must have not less than 1000 hours documented Pilot-in-Command time.
  • Pilot-in-Command time for other aircraft must include 300 hours in multi-engine turbo prop aircraft.
  • Must possess a current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
  • Must possess a current FAA Commercial Pilot or Airline Transportation Pilot license.
  • Must possess BE-300 unrestricted or SIC Required type rating.

Preferred Skills: (skills that are not necessary but will make a candidate more qualified for the position)

  • Former US military or government law enforcement pilot.
  • US military trained TacOps Officer.
  • Prior overseas rotation experience, particularly in USCENTCOM/USAFRICOM area of operations.
  • Radio Telephone Operators Permit.
  • Experience supporting USSOCOM in global operations.
  • Familiarity with the portable Garmin Navigation systems i.e., Aera 760 and GPSMAP 695/696 series.
  • Familiarity with the Basecamp Mapping software.
  • Familiarity with the Air Coordination Order (ACO).

Preferred Education / Certification / Experience: (education that is not necessary but will make a candidate more qualified for the position)

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and seven to nine years of related experience.

Location:

  • Multiple CONUS and OCONUS locations.
  • Possibly austere and primitive location(s).

Security Clearance

  • Must possess an active Secret security/TS preferred.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

  • Candidates hired for this position will be subject to a post offer, pre-hire, pre-deployment medical assessment.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must possess a valid passport with at least six months remaining prior to expiration.
